SPOILER ALERT! I forgot how much m/f sexual scenes are in this story. It stands to reason because the uber Gabrielle is straight and living with her fiancé. This is my least favorite of Weebod's because of the m/f explicit scenes and the beginning of the story has crude remarks that are over the top. Well developed characters and captivating plot definitely contributed enormously to make this a great read.
I'm a big fan of Weebod's creations, I've read them all and I've enjoyed them all.
Never commented on xenafiction though. I reckon this is a good place to start...
Let me see then: a police detective and a community worker, undercover operation, a pain in the butt parent, life & death situations, simmering feelings, pent up emotions, sexy times, drug dealers, hospital stints, reconciliations after years apart, loyal friends, good doses of healthy humour and a great city of Glasgow!.. imho, more than enough of ingredients to cook up an amazing story, right?.. not to mention, it was so dynamic at times, I was almost watching it like a film!
I was ever so upset when it's finished on me...*pouting*
